Sigma Makeup Palettes

As my work wholesales Sigma Products, it was very kind of Sigma to send us the new makeup palettes for us to try. I was so excited to receive a package from them and it truly felt like a Christmas in July!

Here are my first impressions photos taken from my iPhone (I didn't have my camera with me at the studio today :( ). Swatches and review will be coming shortly. The packaging is really nice and quite sturdy and is very similar to the Urban Decay Naked Palette. Each palette comes with a double ended brush: a shader brush and blending brush. For $35 USD it's not too bad in terms of pricing, but I guess I will truly know once I've had a play.

'Bare', 'Dare' and 'Flare' (Top to Bottom)

The Sigma 'Bare' Palette is the perfect everyday neutral kit that has the nearly nude colors to the blackest black. There is a really gorgeous shimmery black on the far left that I can't wait to try!

Note: you will notice below the palette is missing a brush as I must have misplaced the brush somewhere!!

The 'Dare' palette is full of interesting colors including a bright mustard yellow which is a really unusual color that I have not seen anything really similar to it at all. This palette would be perfect for those who suit warmer colors. These colors probably would not suit my skin tone but nevertheless, I am sure to have clients that would look gorgeous in these colors.

The 'Flare' palette is perfect for those with cooler skin tones. The color second from the left, 'Oversee' looks really pretty as well as, 'Allure' which is second from the right. This palette has a mix of neutrals and brights that would make for a really versatile palette to have.

If anyone has tried out these palettes, I would love to know your thoughts/ feelings/ opinions. I have only had a quick play with the 'Bare' palette with a client and so far I am pretty impressed but I will save my review for when I have had a good play with the palettes.

Talk to you all soon xx

Outfit of the Day (OOTD): Classic Trench

Here's my first Outfit of the Day Post. What better way to begin with a timeless classic: the trench coat. Weather was awful today! :( All rain and no sunshine so I definitely felt weatherproof yet still classy in this outfit (though my shoes weren't that happy with the weather!)

I feel that there's no better investment in your wardrobe than a trench coat. A classic style, that will never date is something that is definitely worth investing in! I love the pleating at the back of the trench which makes it really interesting an unusual.

I added a belt to the outfit to give it a bit of "reworking" and to create an interesting element to a neutral outfit. The belt also defined my waist avoiding that shapeless feeling that you can get from wearing a big winter coat. I feel that with the neutral heels your attention goes straight to the belt and you look wonderfully elongated.

Teamed with the classic red lip and a high ponytail, its a classic style that will never date.

Glamorazzi Fashion Parade

Its a bit of a belated post but I am just kicking off my new blog so what better way than to relive a great event. As part of the Chinese New Year Celebrations online fashion store "Glamorazzi" hosted a fashion parade in the heart of China Town in Adelaide. It was very exciting to be the stylist for the event and I got to work with some really great people and meet a bunch of really great girls.

The parade was to not only celebrate Chinese New Year but to launch Glamorazzi's Summer/Autumn11 collection. There were some really great items that would make great staple items for any girls' wardrobe.

This parade was featured in Glam Adelaide with one of my fave outfits styled by yours truly featured in the article! You can check out the full article here.

BTW you might like to check out Glamorazzi's online store here. They sell OPI nail polishes that are way cheaper than Australian RRP. Plus if you order 3 bottle I believe the offer free shipping!
